This workshop offers managers and leaders an engaging and practical exploration of how to leverage CliftonStrengths results and effective human resource practices to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of growth and engagement. Participants will identify and deepen their understanding of their strengths and learn how to apply them in day-to-day leadership, communication, and team dynamics. Through interactive discussions and real-world scenarios, the workshop equips participants with tools to maximize individual and collective potential, align strengths with organizational goals, and cultivate a workplace where people thrive.

About the Instructors

Dr. Kenneth D. Grcich is a distinguished higher education leader and certified CliftonStrengths Life Coach with over two decades of experience in student affairs and university administration. As Associate Dean for Student Affairs, he provides strategic leadership that enriches students’ experiences and fosters success, resilience, and community. Known for his collaborative approach and commitment to inclusion, Ken works across departments to develop programs that support holistic student growth and lifelong learning.

In addition to his leadership role, Ken is passionate about helping individuals and teams unlock their potential through strengths-based coaching. As a certified CliftonStrengths coach, he offers individual coaching sessions, facilitates team-building workshops, and leads strengths-based retreats that empower people to identify their natural talents and apply them for personal and professional success.

An adjunct faculty member and published author, Ken holds a doctorate in Higher Education Management and a master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. He is internationally recognized for his work on creating supportive environments where people thrive by doing what they do best every day.

Nicole Heinz is a global human resources leader with nearly two decades of experience across higher education and the corporate sector, both in the U.S. and internationally. She currently serves as Director of Human Resources at Georgetown University in Qatar, where she leads strategic HR initiatives that support organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and professional growth. Nicole’s areas of expertise include talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.

Prior to her role at Georgetown, Nicole held HR positions in the legal, healthcare, and higher education sectors in the United States. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her collaborative leadership style and her commitment to building inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures.

Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Georgetown University. She is certified through both the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
