EMDIA – Apply Now
The EMDIA program is open to highly qualified applicants, including Qatari diplomats nominated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatari officials engaged in foreign or national security policy across ministries and other government entities, and other practitioners from Qatar and the Middle East region with a professional interest in foreign or national security policy.
Admissions decisions are based on a holistic review process conducted by Georgetown University, which considers academic records, the applicant’s statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, an admissions interview, and a controlled writing exercise.
Applicants must also hold a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree from a university of recognized standing where English is the primary language of instruction, or demonstrate English proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 7.0.

We invite qualified candidates wishing to enroll in the Fall 2026 semester to apply and be considered for admission.
Application deadline: April 18, 2026
Applications will be reviewed as one batch after the application deadline has passed. Decisions are expected to be announced by June 8, 2026.
